Discount codes

Codes customers enter in the cart for money off: amounts, dates, limits and uses.

Discount codes are codes customers type in the cart for money off, like SUMMER10. Share them on social media, in a newsletter or on a flyer.

Create a code

  1. Open Discount codes in the menu and press New code.
  2. Type the Code: letters, digits, - and _. Capitals make no difference, so summer10 and SUMMER10 are the same code.
  3. Pick the Type: Percentage off takes a share of the goods, Fixed amount off takes an amount in your shop's currency.
  4. Enter the Amount: 10 means 10% off or 10 ₾ off, depending on the type.
  5. Optionally set a Minimum order, Starts on and Ends on dates and a Number of uses.
  6. Press Create code.
Setting What it does
Minimum order The goods must come to at least this much, delivery not counted.
Starts on The code works from this day.
Ends on The code still works on this day, and stops the day after.
Number of uses How many orders in total may use it. A cancelled order gives its use back.
Active Switch it off to pause the code; customers cannot use a paused code.

The discount comes off the goods only, never the delivery fee, and never more than the goods are worth.

What customers see

When your shop has an active code, the cart shows a Discount code box. The customer types the code and presses Apply; the discount appears as its own line, and the total drops. The code stays with the cart through checkout. The order, the customer's email and receipt, and the bank's payment page all show the discount.

The list of codes

Discount codes lists every code with its discount, the dates it is valid, how many times it was used and its status:

Active Scheduled Paused Expired Used up

Press Edit to change a code, or Delete to remove it. Orders already placed with a deleted code keep their discount and show its name.

Search the list by code, filter it by Status, and press Code, Valid or Uses to sort. To change several codes at once, tick them and press Activate, Pause or Delete in the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Your plan

Discount codes are part of your plan. On a plan without them, your codes stay listed but customers cannot use them, and you cannot add new ones until you change plan.
