Notifications
Emails when stock runs low, and text messages about new orders and order statuses.
On this page
Notifications sets what you hear about and how: emails when stock runs low, and text messages about orders.
Low stock
- Open Notifications in the menu.
- Keep Tell me when stock runs low on and set Running low at, the number of items left. It starts at 3.
- Press Save changes.
When an order takes a product (or one of its combinations) down to that many or fewer, you get an email listing what is running low. It comes once, when the stock crosses the line, not with every later order. The dashboard lists everything running low too.
Text messages
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Text me new orders at | A text to this Georgian mobile number for each new order, with the total and customer. |
| Text customers about their order | A text to the phone the customer gave at checkout, each time you change the order's status. |
Texts are part of your plan. If your plan does not include them, or texts are not available right now, the screen says so and your choices are kept for later.
Each text is billed by its parts: the price per part is shown on the screen, and the texts since your last invoice are added to your next one (see Billing). Texts are sent in Latin letters, with Georgian and Russian transliterated, so one part holds 160 characters. A shop that is not on a paid plan sends no texts.
