Payments

Cash on delivery and online card payments through Bank of Georgia and TBC.

On this page

Payments decides how customers can pay and where card money lands. You can take cash on delivery, online card payments through Bank of Georgia and TBC Bank, or both.

Accepted methods

Tick the methods you accept and press Save changes:

Method How customers pay
Cash On delivery or pick-up. Nothing to set up.
BOG (Bank of Georgia) By card on the bank's page, once set up below. Until then: transfer.
TBC By card on the bank's page, once set up below. Until then: transfer.

The ticked methods are shown on product pages, at checkout and in your shop's footer. Leave all unticked to show nothing about payment.

Take card payments

To take cards you need a merchant agreement with the bank (ask your BOG or TBC branch for e-commerce / online payments). The bank gives you the credentials to enter here.

  1. Enter the Account holder — the name on the account the bank pays card money into.
  2. In the bank's section, enter the IBAN of that account.
  3. Enter the Client ID and Client secret from your agreement. For TBC also the API key from your TBC developer portal application.
  4. Press Test setup to check the details with the bank before saving.
  5. Tick the bank under Accepted methods and press Save changes.

Each bank's section shows where you are:

Not set upNo account entered yet.
Transfers onlyAn IBAN is saved but no merchant credentials: customers pay by transfer.
Cards onCustomers pay by card on the bank's page and orders arrive paid.

Keeping secrets safe

  • Saved secrets are never shown again — the field shows ••••••••••••. Leave it blank to keep the saved one.
  • To disconnect card payments, clear the Client ID and save.

What the customer sees

At checkout the customer picks one of your accepted methods. With a card method they are taken to the bank's secure page, pay, and come back to a thank-you page. You see the payment status on the order. Orders and card payments
